Delta Controls Care Packages
At Delta Controls, we believe in Doing It Right. This mantra has many different meanings and can look all sorts of ways.
Last year when COVID-19 hit, it left many feeling helpless and unsure. The shelves at the grocery stores were empty, and it was hard to know where to turn to for support. We are proud to say that when our Delta Controls community needed a little extra help in a time of such uncertainty, a few found ways to continue Doing It Right.
Emily Bucyk, Executive Administrative Assistant and Leona Nagy, Inventory and Logistics Manager, began creating care packages last year to support our community and make sure everyone had the needed supplies. The care packages included sanitizer that Emily made herself, disposable masks and reusable masks.
Over the last year, we have provided around 165 care packages a month to our DCI community. That is roughly 8,250 masks, 330 sanitizers and 400 reusable masks.
Emily and Leona saw the importance of supporting everyone in such trying times and giving people the opportunity to safely pick up their supplies in a drive-by format. It also allowed many Delta Controls employees to safely interact and have a social gathering when that has been so difficult over the last year.
The last year has been challenging for everyone, and while the future is still unknown, at Delta Controls, we are proud to have such thoughtful and caring teammates step up and Do It Right for everyone. Our next care package event is on April 21st, and Emily is very excited that we can now supply everyone with sanitation hand wipes well.
