The Vancouver Sun Run

Control Freaks has been participating in the Vancouver Sun Run for over 20 years!

Control Freaks, representing the Delta Controls Corporation and ESC Automation, has been participating in the Vancouver Sun Run for over 20 years. Our name originates from the fact that we’re in the building automation controls industry, and we are very passionate (freaks) when it comes to our companies health and well-being.

This year, despite the rain and hail, The Control Freaks came prepared on April 14th, 2019, to run our control(ling) freak(y) hearts out, with our corporate team placing 22nd out of 127, in the High-Tech division.

Delta Controls has always encouraged and promoted the health of its employees, with our company gym being the perfect example of that. We offer on-site sports teams (volleyball, basketball, soccer), personal trainers, yoga, Zumba, bhangra, and more! Delta Controls knows that our employees’ health is the backbone of our corporation, and it is just as important, if not more, than the technical and educational training we provide. Our company’s mantra is to ‘leave the world a slightly better place than when we found it,’ and the Vancouver Sun Run allows us to do just that!

The Control Freaks were very proud of our performance, and everyone at Delta Controls and ESC is already looking forward to the 2020 Sun Run, we just hope for better weather next year!
