A recent article written by Peter Saunders featured in the April publication of Canadian Consulting Engineer, goes in-depth to provide informed opinions and expertise to help answer the question. At the heart of the story are plans by Ryerson University in Toronto to construct the world's first 100% digitally enabled building in the downtown core. The project, referred to as the SCITHub (Smart Campus Integration and Testing Hub) will showcase and test a number of smart building technologies within a two-story, 3,000-sf mass timber facility.
Addressing the concept of ‘a connected environment’ part-way through the article, Peter talks with Delta Controls’ own Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Robert Hemmerdinger to outline the automation and software-as-a-service (Saas) solutions Delta can offer to provide significant advantage in a project such as SCITHub.
